Mary Alice Sorensen

I've known Mary Alice most of my life. She and her family lived next to our home when i was growing up. She was always a kind, sweet, loving person. After my family moved , she still stayed in our lives. My Parents had her working for them in their store. She was there & helped when my mother got sick. She was a giving person, always with a smile. She had a big hug for me at my Fathers

I've known Mary Alice most of my life. She and her family lived next to our home when i was growing up. She was always a kind, sweet, loving person. After my family moved , she still stayed in our lives. My Parents had her working for them in their store. She was there & helped when my mother got sick. She was a giving person, always with a smile. She had a big hug for me at my Fathers funeral. Recently she was in the nursing home, next to my grandmothers room there. I always visited her too. I'm so thankful that i stopped in to see her a few days before she passed. She was like a aunt to me.My family loved her. RIP now Mary Alice, i know your not in pain anymore. Tell my dad hello and we miss him!! I loved you too!!

My thoughts are with you, Diane, Karen and family -- your mother and grandmother was a wonderful person. I worked with her for many years at Wolverine Mutual. She thought the world of all of you. I especially remember her buying clothes, hats and other things at garage sales so you could have fun playing "dress-up". After retirement, she would join the "Wolverine retirees" for lunch when she was able. She will be missed. Take care.

Thinking of you, Karen. Your mom was a special lady. I cherish the memories of her when we were in high school. She was a saint!

I used to sit by Mary at Mass and one day she brought me an article about
donating food to our local food pantry. Ever since that day The Parishners
bring food to the Altar at Offerty and The Youth take it St. Vincent.

Aunt Mary Alice was one of the most genuine people I have ever known. She was always accepting and kind to her nieces and nephews and as the years progressed became a dear friend as well. I loved visiting her and my uncle Bob at their place and remember a funny incident with their dog and their bird bath. The dog loved to sit in it and Aunt Mary Alice said it was because he was a bird dog. She

I am so glad that I was able to once again visit my dearest Aunt who made me feel so welcome as a child and then - whenever I got the rare chance to visit - as an adult. It was a great privilege to be able to spend time with her this summer and that time will remain as a special memory.

To my cousins, Diane and Karen- my love and my prayers. To all, the same. I hope to be able to be there by Sunday afternoon for at least part of the gathering.
